Wow - Cant remember when I last went out for a FON sport. Feels like years.
My first ever snowboard session on a proper ski field. Wasnt prepared for it all. Went out the night before and had a big night in the company of some nice air hostesses.
With only a few hours sleep. My flatmate drove us up to the Mountain whilst I was hanging out of the window trynna throw up. I wasnt prepared for my first session at all. I was really really hungover and I forgot my Jacket, goggles and beanie. I hadnt even prepared my board so had to take of all the stickers etc as well.

I was all up for goin on the beginners slopes but Adam was abdamant that I just went for it and tried out the 1.5k intermediate run from the very top of the mountain. After a lot of persuasion, I gave in and thought what the hell.
My first run took me over half an hour to get down the mountain, mostly on my ass. I was expectin snowboardin to be fairly easy as I rmember havin a great copule of hours the year before back in Aber when it snowed but it wasn't, it seemed so much different.
After my first couple fo runs, I was just getting the hang of my heel side turns but toeside was proving a problem.
At the end of the day, I got a good 7 runs in and I could carry out my left and right turns in reasonable confidence.
What a great first session though. Absolutely shattered and I could hardly move any of my limbs. More fo the same tomorrow
